Students traveling during Quarter 1 (January 1, 2025, to March 31, 2025): Students traveling during these dates must only complete 1 hour of volunteering and may complete this requirement during the quarter of travel. These students do not need to complete the Travel Fund Volunteer Submission survey and will instead submit their signed Volunteer Service Form with the Travel Fund Application Submission survey prior to conference travel.
Students traveling Quarters 2 - 4 (April 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025): Students must volunteer for at least 3 hours and have supervisors sign their Volunteer Service Form. Volunteer events do not need prior approval and hours can be accumulated across multiple events. The signed Volunteer Service Form must be submitted to the GRC within the quarter prior to travel (eligibility period; i.e. if you are traveling during Q3, your form is due during Q2). Eligibility requirements must be completed within 12 months of the eligibility period (i.e., if your eligibility documents are due in Q2, you have from the beginning of Q2 the year prior to complete those requirements).
